Meet our Staff  

C. Ashley Clayton, DDS
 Dr. Clayton graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. While in Dental school, he was awarded the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement. Upon moving to Nashville, Dr. Clayton began his private practice of General Dentistry as an associate of Dr. Gholson’s. After three years as an associate, Dr. Clayton started his own private practice of General Dentistry. Also interested in organized Dentistry, Dr. Clayton is a member of the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association, the Greater Nashville Dental Study Club, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He has served as Vice President and President elect for the Greater Nashville Dental Study Club

John A. Gholson III, DDS

Dr. Gholson graduated from the university of Tennessee College of Dentistry with honors. Upon graduation, he served two years in the U.S. Army Corps, followed by a one year residency in Oral Surgery at Erianger Hospital. Since that time, Dr. Gholson has been in the private practice of General Dentistry in Nashville.

An active member in organized dentistry, Dr. Gholson has served in various capacities, including serving as President of the Nashville Dental Society and as Trustee, Vice President, and Secretary to the Tennessee Dental Association. Professional memberships include the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Pierre Fauchard Academy, Green Hills Dental Study Club, and the Greater Nashville Dental Study Club.

Dr. Gholson has received the Fellowship Award from theTennessee Dental Association and is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and a Fellow of the International College of Dentists.
